Coronavirus (COVID-19) update:
All Parks and Recreation programs are cancelled from Saturday, March 14, 2020 to Tuesday, April 21, 2020.
Due to recent recommendations regarding the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), New Kent Parks and Recreation will close Quinton Park effective immediately. Park surfaces, such as picnic tables, benches, and playground equipment are not sanitized.
Wahrani Nature Trail will remain open at this time. Please practice social distancing, avoid group hikes, and be aware that park surfaces are not sanitized.
The mission of the Department of Parks and Recreation is to enhance the quality of life in New Kent County by promoting, providing, and maintaining a comprehensive system of quality recreational facilities and services.
New Kent County Parks and Recreation provides opportunities and recreational programs that are open and accessible to all citizens in the county regardless of sex, religion, socioeconomic, and/or level of physical or mental ability.
